Grace at 5:55 am!

Grace at 5:55 am!

As I looked out my dark office window this early morning, I spied the silhouette of the sliver crescent-shaped moon with a round outline! The crescent part of the moon is sitting down yonder of the circle of the moon. It is beautiful and reminds me of Abba God, holding me up with His loving, unending grace! And, what a beautiful Creator HE IS!

Psalms 18:1-3 (The Passion Translation) is so comforting to me, and I pray it will be to you as well!

“I love you, Yahweh, and I’m bonded to you, my strength!

2 Yahweh, you’re the bedrock beneath my feet,

    my faith-fortress, my wonderful deliverer,

my God, my rock of rescue where none can reach me.

    You’re the shield around me,

the mighty power that saves me,

    and my high place.

3 All I need to do is to call on you,

    Yahweh, the praiseworthy God.

When I do, I’m safe and sound in you—

    delivered from my foes!”

Are you going through a really hard season or even a challenging couple of years? Is it wrenchingly difficult? Have you gone through betrayal by a friend, a co-worker, or a family member? I do think and have experienced the past few years have been exceedingly hard for most of us! I believe it is only in Jesus’ love and strength that many of us are still standing! I am sure you can make a long list of prayer concerns and worries. I know I can, too! But Jesus! We can call upon Jesus to be our strength! We can choose to call upon Jesus to help us! Sometimes, all we can do is breathe out His precious Name: Jesus!

Psalms 18:19 (TPT) says, “His love broke open the way and He brought me into a beautiful broad place. He rescued me because His delight is in me.” Hallelujah! Jesus rescues you and me in the only way possible. In Him. For Him. By Him! I love that His ways are so much higher and greater than mine! I praise Him! And as I do, He opens my heart and mind to His ways, moving me with faith to see Him and His will!

You know, Psalms 18:19 could be referring to the throne room of heaven. So, when you pray your prayers are ascending into the very heart of Abba, Daddy God seated in His throne room of great grace and mercy! Also, in Ps. 18: 19 you can see the glorious resurrection of Christ (from death on the cross) as the Father reached down and kissed the Son with life and love. Read it again and think of Christ in the tomb being raised lovingly, in great power and majesty by Abba God, our heavenly Father! (The Passion Translation footnotes) I love this so much! Abba Daddy reaches down for His beloved Son, Jesus Christ! And He reaches down for you and I as we put our feet solidly on Him. He is our bedrock peace! He is our fortress. He is our wrap-around shield! He is the mighty power to save you no matter what you are staring at today!

Call upon Him today, even at this moment! Praise Him passionately out loud! Give Him all your love! He IS so worthy of all our praise! He will help you! He is so good!

Have you received Jesus as your Savior? It’s time. He has been knocking on your heart. He has been seeking you as His beloved child.  He loves you so much! It’s a simple prayer you can pray right now, from wherever you are reading this.

Dear Jesus,

I need you. I cannot do this hard life without you. Jesus, I have done things my way and I am ready for you to be my Lord, my Savior. Please forgive me of my sins. I acknowledge that you died on the cross…FOR ME. Jesus, I believe you rose again from the grave after three days in the tomb. Jesus, come live in me. Be my loving Counselor, my guide, my Lord. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ precious Name I pray. Amen.

Welcome to the family of God! All of heaven is celebrating with you! Your Name was just written in the Book of Life! When Jesus comes back for His beloved people, He will take you with Him to our eternal, heavenly home. Please tell someone you trust about your decision and do get a bible. I suggest starting reading through the Psalms, as they are such a comfort in a world gone crazy! The gospels also are a great place to begin, like John, Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Please leave a note about your decision to encourage others! 🙂

God bless you greatly as you trust in Him!

Breath In Me, God

Recently, I went to urgent care because I was having challenges with my allergies. I suspected I had an ear infection. I was wrong. It turned out I had a middle ear problem called Otitis Media. This occurs in the middle ear when in my case, clear fluid got stuck in there, creating inflammation. Thankfully, I did not need antibiotics! The doctor did suggest ordering an Otovent. “What’s an Otovent?” you may be asking. Basically, it’s a plastic base and a balloon! You have to blow up the balloon with one nostril. Sounds crazy, I know. Multitudes of people say it has worked for them! Today, I tried it, and it worked for me, too! Hallelujah!

To use the Otovent, you breathe and then exhale through your open nostril (the other is plugged) and try to blow up the balloon. Since it took two days to receive the Otovent via UPS (it is originally made in Sweden), I tried this process in the shower. I was amazed at the forceful air that one can expell through just one nostril! The Otovent provides the pressure required to open the Eustachian tube to help equalize the middle ear pressure. Think of a deep-sea diver coming up from great depths and needing to equalize the pressure they feel in their ears. Or, perhaps during airplane flights.

When I got home, I immediately started to research as I had never heard of this ailment, nor did my three children deal with it. It can also be called Glue Ear! I know this sounds really odd, but stay with me here! The Lord immediately let me know my ear has implications for the church, His ekklesia. You see, so many of us have our ears clogged to the Holy Spirit! We cannot hear what He is sharing. Our ears can be glued shut to His truth! We cannot hear how He is guiding us. And, we do not realize the power of His breath, God the Father’s breath inside of us!

Genesis 2:7 (The Message) shares, “At the time God made Earth and Heaven, before any grasses or shrubs had sprouted from the ground—God hadn’t yet sent rain on Earth, nor was there anyone around to work the ground (the whole Earth was watered by underground springs)—God formed Man out of dirt from the ground and blew into his nostrils the breath of life. The Man came alive—a living soul!” The God of heaven and Earth blew His very breath into you! His breath, and life are strong in us!

Perhaps you are in a church that does not allow Holy Spirit to freely flow or move upon people. God needs to unclog our middle ear so we can clearly hear and discern what He is teaching us, especially coming out of the crazy and confusing time of Covid-19.

Are you bruised and tired from this time and great upheaval in the world? Listen to Psalms 119:107 (TPT) “I’m bruised and broken, overwhelmed by it all; breathe life into me again by your living word.”

If a great harvest of revival is coming and I believe it has begun, what is the ekklesia doing to prepare? Are salvation messages being given? Are sin and repentance being spoken about from the pulpit? Are you and I falling in love with Jesus…today? Are you more in love with Him today than you were yesterday, realizing the freedom you have because of His great sacrifice paid at the cross of Calvary? Are you ready for His return?

How does Jesus wake us up so we can hear from Him again? I believe the Spirit of the Lord is saying I am going to breathe upon you…once again just like I did with Adam when I created him. Nostril to nostril.

A different version of Genesis 2:7 from the KJ21, says,  “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.”

God breathed in life, and Adam exhaled. Then, Adam breathed again. He inhaled and exhaled.

His breathing became as natural as you and I breathe. We do not think about it; we just do. But God! He gives His people purpose, direction, and a calling. The problem is two-fold. We can breathe on our own, and we can tend to forget our Maker. We think we can control our church services to the micro-second. 15 minutes 30 seconds on worship. Twenty minutes on a message. Perhaps a testimonial or a one-and-a-half-minute video to knock your message out of the park. We do not leave room or time for Holy Spirit to breathe and move us. We do not allow Him time to move in signs, wonders, and miracles! And, what about giving the gospel message of Jesus at the cross? Is this being spoken during every service, so people have the opportunity to give their lives to Him? Jesus is coming back, and I want to be about His business, leading others to know Him and His abundant love and true, victorious identity!

We must let Holy Spirit amplify His breath in us! Breathe Him in and follow what He shares with you. Exhale and rest in His divine guidance. Get into His rhythm! Ps. 119: 73-74 “Your very hands have held me and made me who I am; give me more revelation-light, so I may learn to please you more. May all your devoted lovers see how you treat me and be glad, for your words are entwined with my heart.” Do you desire more of Jesus? Spend time with Him daily. Read the Word, and Holy Spirit will reveal things you do not know or previously understood. Is your soul dry and shriveled? Go to His living truth of the Word. Let Him breathe new life with a fresh wind into your very soul!

And, what about prayer? Do our churches have prayer time? Is it only at church or an occasional set time during the week? If prayer moves the heart of Jesus, why is it not held in greater esteem by church leaders? God is waiting for us to praise Him wholeheartedly with our God-given breath. He is waiting to hear our petitions.

Maybe today, you need to stretch out before Him. Lay down and let Him breathe fresh life, energy, and joy into you. Let Him encourage your dry, dead bones so they can come to life again!

“The spirit God breathed into man is like a living lamp, a shining light searching into the innermost chamber of our being.” Proverbs 20:27 (TPT)

“At the very moment I called out to you, you answered me! You strengthened me deep within my soul and breathed fresh courage into me.” Psalm 138:3 (TPT)

“Everything you speak to me is like joyous treasure, filling my life with gladness. I have determined in my heart to obey whatever you say, fully and forever!” Psalms 119:112 (TPT)

“Your promises are the source of my bubbling joy; the revelation of your Word thrills me

like one who has discovered hidden treasure.” Psalms 119:162 (TPT)

My daughter recently had a baby boy! I had the wonderful privilege to be in the labor room. When her baby boy was delivered, I waited for his first breath to occur. I counted a few seconds, and then the critical cry came! Hallelujah! I was happy and grateful to hear him breathe and cry! I was glad he breathed in. God is waiting for you to breathe Him in. He’s already breathed His love, His life, and very breath into you! Holy Spirit, pour your fragrance of joy into me as I move and have my being in you, listening carefully. Unclog my ears, Jesus! I want to love you with all my heart!

Let’s Pray:

Lord, breathe your Holy Spirit life into me again! Let me place you above everything. Holy Spirit, please forgive me when I do not hear your breath, your words in my ears. Help us to be more attentive to your guidance, your leading, and your impressions upon our heart. May we bring you so much glory, praise, and honor. In Jesus’ Name, we pray, Amen.

Yield and Merge!

Recently, as I was falling asleep at bedtime, I started to have a vision. I looked up into the nighttime sky, and I saw an orange-yellow Merge sign in the sky spaces of an oak tree.

In the morning, I pondered what this meant and asked Holy Spirit. He whispered, “I will be with you as you merge (transition) into the new things I AM doing in your life! You will have fresh encounters with Jesus in the burning fires of the birthing room! Also, you will have an acceleration of multiple births!” I believe this is for you, too! I prophesy this over you, my friends! Let me explain the merge sign because I believe it reveals something prophetic about the amazing season we are in today! 😊

When you see a merge sign, it is a caution that a lane is going to end. It’s a terrific and safe idea to YIELD first without proceeding into the only lane…especially if a car is right next to you! I sense the Lord is saying with all of the new assignments, callings, and purposes He is giving us, we must YIELD to Him first… for such a time as this! We must pause, pray, and ask for His strategies, blueprints, and guidance before building, producing, and writing! We must then act with radical obedience! Otherwise, we will be bogged down, slowed down, and have to double back and re-do our mistakes and faux pas just as we would if we do not YIELD in a merge lane! The merge sign also reminds us that we should consider other drivers and allow them to merge smoothly if we are in the through lane.  This means we have to consider others as we move into our new assignments. Sometimes, if you’re anything like me, I put my head down and want to only work on and complete what God has blessed me to do without considering how it may affect those around me. I need to have God’s balance without forgetting the needs of those I have been entrusted with. I need to merge with grace, patience, faith, humility, and courage!

Another thing about the merge lane is two lanes come into one. The lane closure represents something coming to an end in your life and God bringing into focus something new! It might be a job, a hobby, a career, or a ministry. It may be an unequally yoked relationship. God sovereignly knows exactly what He is finishing and beginning in your life! He merges you into your new lane- your divine destiny, calling, and purpose!

God is creating greater commissions and new alignments as we partner with Holy Spirit. As a result of His grace and favor, you will have tremendous growth emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Our families may not understand the callings on our lives. So we may need to let others merge into our new callings gradually. We must patiently let them merge in their timing. I am praying Holy Spirit opens their hearts and minds to what He is doing in your life!

As I researched the merge lane and yielding, I came across what is called a “Zipper Merge.” I had never heard of this before! On the above Merge sign, the three small lines resemble a zipper. The premise behind a Zipper Merge is that you stay in your lane as long as you can. Then reportedly, the flow of traffic does not slow down because both lanes are being used for the maximum amount of time before merging. However, as far as a believer’s transition goes, we can be stuck in the wrong lane for too long when we are unwilling to transition with God! We can stay in the lane of our job, our ministry, or a hobby for far too long because the change feels too difficult or unfamiliar! The accuser of your soul knows this. When we stay in our lane and will not merge before the lane ends, we can end up feeling like we missed our opportunity. We can feel shameful and mad at ourselves for “missing it” and berate ourselves for our lack of faith. Forgive yourself and ask God to forgive you. Receive His pure, cleansing water of forgiveness. He calls us to be holy, consecrated, and set apart! So, YIELD and MERGE with prayer and Holy Spirit guidance, grace, and joy! You are His special treasure, and He will help you! Take it to heart what He is asking you to YIELD to Him, then Merge in His perfect timing!

“You have been set apart as holy to the Lord your God, and He has chosen you from all the nations of the earth to be His own special treasure.” Deut. 14:2 (NLT)

You are His “Spark!”

“Meditating on the prophetic words spoken over our lives reminds us of God’s desires for our future and His ability to fulfill our destiny!”-Kris Vallotton

In 1 Timothy 1:18,  Paul gave Timothy an exhortation to refresh, remember and recharge his prophetic calling! “Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well.” Jesus is saying the same to you and me! We need to speak it out in faith and build with our mouths! Faith comes from hearing the Word, so speak it forward, out loud!

Eph. 2:6-7 “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.” You and me are seated with Christ in heavenly places! We have authority and His resurrection power in us to do and build what He is calling us to! It’s astounding, but absolutely true!

I remember years ago, in 2008, the Lord woke me up at a retreat in Lake Tahoe, CA, and said, “I want you to write and speak for me.” Of course, I was shocked! I was teaching Kindergarten at the time and enjoyed speaking to 5-6-year-olds, not adults. Adults were big and scary, and I had not found my confident voice…yet! So, He needed to create a mind and heart shift in me. And, I had to choose to believe what He said about me and what He was asking me to do. I needed to trust Him and His loving heart towards me. Maybe this is true of you today! It’s a choice to believe Jesus! He is revealing His purposes, but will we really believe Him, pray and process with Him? Will we answer His call upon our lives?

Will you keep your dream, your vision-the vision He has given to you, alive? A friend of mine has said, “What you can’t see, you can’t be!” He whispers to our hearts and minds, “Will you work with me to accomplish what I have set before you?” So, I ask you and myself,  What action will we take today to move forward?

Hebrews 11:1-3 (TPT) “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”

Reading these scriptures encourages my hope to have eyes of faith and journey and step out in faith in God and my true calling! Abraham stepped out in fantastic faith, not knowing where He was going. He left his familiar life and surroundings with a “promise in his pocket” and a big belief in his heart… with the promise you had given to him and Sarah. Hebrews 11:10  “For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.”

God, Himself is my architect and builder, so I, therefore, have an unshakeable faith-filled foundation! The authority of my faith rests in the One, who makes the promises as I am tapped into His faithfulness!

Cling to your faith and the prophecy that He has spoken to you, in Jesus no matter what! There is no turning back because as Heb. 11:6 shares, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.”

Fix your heart on what is far greater; the heavenly realm! Colossians 3:1-3 (TPT) “Christ’s resurrection is your resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority! 2 Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.” If we are going to successfully fulfill God’s blueprints and dreams for our lives, we have got to throw off the sin, the weights, and distractions that can hinder us! How? Col. 3:3 says,  “Your crucifixion with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ.”

I recently heard a prophet say, at the moment of conception, (and this has been captured on video!) there is a “spark” that occurs when an egg and a sperm collide! At that very moment, God is placing His life in that baby! And, at the same time, when you were “sparked,” He placed your destiny inside of you-into your very DNA! So, your destiny has been there all along! God is awakening you to the future He has for you, TODAY!

Col.3:4 says, “And as Christ Himself is seen for who He really is, who you really are will also be revealed, for you are now one with Him in his glory!” You are one with Him in His glory, to shine who HE IS in you, to help others know the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ! I cannot think of any better DESTINY than this!

So, enjoy the journey and the process of discovering firstly the beauty of Jesus, who He is, and then, you’ll learn what He has for you to do, fulfill, and leave a lasting legacy for your family!

“Your Valley of Achor Becomes Your Acres of Hope!” in 2021

Happy *2021!!*Recently, I heard the Lord whispering a phrase to my heart over and over again!  So, finally, I got up and wrote this in my journal book: “Your Valley of Achor Becomes Your Acres of Hope!” What a play on words! Hosea 2:15 came to my mind immediately. “There I will give her back her vineyards and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope.” I got really excited about this because I believe this can be true for each of God’s believers as an encouragement as we come into the New Year of 2021! God wants to restore to us what has been taken, lost, or delayed in the year of the pandemic.

I have also been journaling and sensing from the Lord that He wants you and me to rest in Him more. He wants us to come away, pause and ponder Him and all of the amazing things He has done in our lives this year! He wants us to slow down and reflect upon Him as we go through our daily activities. He wants us to hold Him forever in front of us, knowing He IS with us, loving and guiding us. He wants us to give Him our troubles in our Valley of Achor because He has so much hope in the Acres of Hope He wants to give you! I also keep hearing God say to my heart, “Revival and reawakening are coming to those who are Resting in Him! And, Rest = Revival!”

Revival is defined as restoration to life, consciousness, vigor, strength, and awakening to what matters to God. Anyone needing rest, feeling worn out from the year 2020?! Well, I have great news! Isaiah 65:10 says, “Sharon (which was a plain in the Valley of Achor) will become a pasture for flocks, and the Valley of Achor a resting place for herds, for my people who seek me.” You probably know by now, Achor means trouble. The CEV Bible version of Hosea 2:15 shares, “I will return your vineyards, and then Trouble Valley will become Hopeful Valley. You will say “Yes” to me as you did in your youth when leaving Egypt.”

God will restore what has been taken away as we look to Him and rest in Him! But, God asks us to look forward into what He is doing (not looking backward at Egypt like the Israelites did when they were stuck in the wilderness, pining for meat, leeks, and garlic!) and instead…be hopeful in anticipation of what He will do in 2021!! In those moments when you start to waver and doubt that God is with you, remember that God has signed His Name upon you, His child! As believers in Christ, We are marked by Him! Revelation 3:5 says, “The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life but will acknowledge that name before my Father and His angels.”

Let me further encourage you today with Isa. 51:1. “Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn.” Notice the KEYWORDS: LISTEN, SEEK,LOOK! We must do all 3 of these actions to come out of 2020 and enter into the Acres of Hope-into your Promised land! A place filled with exuberance and laughter, thankful voices, and praise-filled songs. He turns the hard and wrenching times into something useful, even great, even when we can’t see what He is doing! He brings HOPE out of our disasters! I believe He is giving you more space to get grounded and founded in Him! (Rev. 2:3) says, “God sees how you have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.” He longs for us to rest in our Valley of Achor so that He can bring you acres of HOPE, restoration, rejuvenation, joy, and peace! I am praying this over you and into 2021: Lord God, I am praying for your people to have– a happy and peaceful 2021 as they seek you, listen and look to you! Help us love you, Lord, our God, with all of our heart, soul, and strength! Father, help us draw closer to Jesus as we close out 2020 and enter our New Year! In Jesus’ powerful name we pray, Amen.  Here’s to a faith-filled year fully drawing closer to Jesus!

Love and joy, Holly

The Lion of Judah~ The Detonator!

I recently had a dream in which the Lion of Judah came walking into an urban area. There were high rise buildings all around. Oh, that’s so odd I thought in my dream. Here comes the very Lion of Judah walking right into the city! Suddenly, He roared! It was such a loud, piercing, and ferocious roar, it detonated the air. I saw His swirling breath change to water. This living water though was slightly thicker than water, as if it had oil mixed in. There were bubbles in this liquid and it moved down the urban streets above the ground!

As this liquid came upon people, salvation and miracles broke out! Chains fell off people! Addictions, sadness, depression, and suicide broke off the hearts of people.  As His fierce roaring and breath moved out and on, it came to burnt-out places where a fire had ravished an entire suburban area.

As I looked up and down the streets, only cement foundations remained covered with deep gray ash. As the Lion of Judah’s breath and living water came over the burned-out subdivision, the houses started to grow back. The grass grew and the buildings erected right before my eyes! Color and life came back into the area. Hope grew!

As I started to wake up from this dream, I heard the word “detonated.” It is not a word I usually use, so I looked it up online. Detonated means to explode with sudden power and violence. Synonyms for detonated include exploding, blast, blow up, burst, discharge, fulminate, let go, and shoot off. The antonym is to dismantle. Your prayers infused by Holy Spirit power and the Word dismantle and detonate the atmosphere blowing up the plans of the accuser. Your prayers bring the thunderous power of God! These are life-changing, faith-building, and miraculous prayers! Never forget the roaring detonation power you carry!

The Latin renders the word detonated as detonatus, which means “thundered forth.” I think of the Sons of Thunder, James, and John, the fishermen of Mark 3:17. Thunder is loud; it can be frightening and definitely gets your attention! The Thunder brothers were probably nicknamed by Jesus because He knew they could be loud and react harshly to those who came against them. Sometime in John’s life, he went from a salty, harsh fulminating fisherman to the beloved disciple of Jesus! John’s thunderous dark clouded emotions blew apart by the roaring bright love of the Lion! Wherever you are today, God is your life changer and emotional bondage breaker! HE IS bringing new life, new opportunities, new purposes, and plans to your life even in the midst of the burned-out places in your life. HE IS bringing beauty from ashes. HE IS growing you and adding bright, prismatic colors to your heart! HE IS enlivening and emboldens you to roar on, and roar forward!

Jesus’ dunamis power or the (Greek) word for power also means explosive power found in John 18:5-6 when Jesus was going to be arrested before His life’s mission on the cross. “Jesus, knowing full well what was about to happen, went out to the garden entrance to meet them. Stepping forward, He asked, “Who are you looking for?” “Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. (Now Judas, the traitor, was among them.)

He replied, “I am He.”  And the moment Jesus spoke the words, “I am He,” the mob fell backward to the ground!”

Every one of these strong men including Judas the traitor fell backward to the ground by the roaring power of God. Jesus was in charge that night as Lord of Lords (Lion of Judah) and Savior (Lamb of the World). They could not take hold of Him unless He relinquished His rights to them. All evil has to bow at the Name of Jesus. So roar in powerful praise the great Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

The first definition of detonated included violence which brings to mind Matthew 11:12 (NIV). “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it.”

The Greek word biazō (Strong’s G971) means heaven is taken by violence, carried by a thunderous storm.  It also means a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought for with the most ardent zeal and the most intense exertion.  I am praying you and I will have the most ardent zeal to carry out His purposes, His divine projects, purposes, and revivals! When the Greek word biazo is translated into Hebrew it becomes a clear reference to Micah 2:12-13 and includes the “breaking forth.”

The Lion of Judah roars today that the kingdom of heaven is forcefully advanced on earth by you, as you pick up your divine purpose and move forward! I prophesy that you will not let the world and its ideas, perceptions, and voices of judgments stop you! You are propelled forward by the roar of the Breaker, Holy Spirit living within! HE IS breaking through to create opportunities for you. HE IS breaking through for you, so pick up your dreams again. HE IS out in the front, leading you on!

There will be NO MORE limitations upon the Roar of your roar! The Lion of Judah, our Breaker has gone before us and is still going before us causing our purpose, our voices, our divine destiny to erupt, and suddenly explode into being!

Did you know confinement (Micah 2:13) also pertains to the period from the onset of labor to the birth of a child? God is birthing your destiny right now! As you roar in prayer and faith, decreeing and declaring His perfect outcomes, the Detonator roars back, bringing into fruition what He has already set in motion for YOU!

The Lion of Judah loves you and He is for you!

Love, Holly

Stand Here and Let The Light In ~ John 3:16

Stand here quietly before the Lord as I remind you of all the great things the Lord has done for you and your ancestors.” 1 Sam. 12:7

1 Sam. 12:16 (RSV) “Now therefore stand still and see this great thing, which the Lord will do before your eyes.”

Exodus 14:13 And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for you today; for the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.” This is referring to wiping out the Egyptians with a mighty, crashing wave as they pursued the Israelites fleeing from Egypt. This final crashing wave was so unexpected, so swift, so final! When God acts who can reverse it?

He is calling the ecclesia, His church to stop out of the box of its four walls to get a little crazy and speak love and encouragement. He is calling us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Revival needs to come! Praise and worship Him! Light the fire of hope in your heart and help someone else rise in Christ’s hope! God is bringing revival! I want to be a part of it. How about you?

I challenge you today: will you share the gospel at least one time today? Share it 1x a day! How? Speak it forward, on your social media posts. Speak it to a co-worker. Share with a family member or a friend. Ask the Lord who you are to share it with today! I bet you can come up with other creative ways! Let’s start a revival one person at a time! 1 person- 1 a day!

Here’s a simple way to give the gospel message- it’s as easy to remember as ABC.

Aacknowledgeaccept that Jesus is God’s only Son. (John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”)

Bbelieve He died on the cross for your sins. (Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” and Philippians 2:8 “And He humbled Himself even further, going so far as actually to die a criminal’s death on a cross. ) Believe He was resurrected (restored to life from God, His Father) from the grave after three days of lying in His tomb.

Cconfess that Jesus is Lord overall and you want Him to be the Lord of your life.

Eph. 5:14 (The MSG) exhorts us in these last of the last days, “Don’t waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It’s a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive they look in the light of Christ. Wake up from your sleep, Climb out of your coffins; Christ will show you the light! So watch

For this reason He says, “Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine [as dawn] upon you and give you light.” (Eph. 5:14 AMP)

Church! Let’s wake up! Let’s rise up! Jesus is coming back soon! (No, I do not have a date or a time. Only God, the Father knows!) Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times!

Rev. 1:1 (TPT) shares, “This is the unveiling of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to share with his loving servants what must occur swiftly.” The unveiling means when Jesus comes back for His followers, He will be seen or unveiled!

Rev. 1:1 the footnotes of the Passion Translation Bible explain it this way: this does not necessarily mean “soon” from the writer’s perspective, but that once the time comes it will quickly happen. The Greek phrase en tachos (similar to “tachometer”) means that once something starts, it will take place swiftly.” A tachometer is an instrument measuring revolution per minute, as of an engine. It can also mean various instruments for measuring or indicating velocity or speed, as of a machine, a river, or the blood. (

The red blood of the Lamb of Jesus has been poured out for yours and my salvation. Let’s share with others the Great News of the gospel today!

I have heard different pastors say in this time of history,  “We are in a red line moment.”

God was calling the people, and He calls us today:  Rise up my people! He calls us to be taller than your surrounding landscape! Be braver than what you see! He is always going to do something bigger and unexpected! Go and share the lifesaving message of our Lord Jesus! He IS coming back, so let’s take as many people with us!

When the people of Israel saw the mighty power that the Lord had unleashed against the Egyptians, they were filled with awe before Him! They put their faith in the Lord and in His servant Moses.

What about today? What do you see happening around you? Any injustice or evil will come crashing to an end when Jesus comes into the scene!

Ephesians 6:12 emphatically states we are not fighting against people, government, or a virus. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

Invite Him into your heavy challenges, despair, and disappointment! He’s got you! We can have confidence in Him! You can come up higher and over your difficulties in Him! It’s so important to do so…so we can rise up higher and share the gospel today! One a day begins a Revival!

Proverbs 3:6 (TPT) “Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on Him to guide you, and He will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with Him in whatever you do, and He will lead you wherever you go.”

“In that day the Lord of hosts will be a crown of glory, and a diadem of beauty, to the remnant of his people; and a spirit of justice to Him who sits in judgment, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.” (Isaiah 28:5-6 RSV) Let Him be your strength as you share the gospel! Have no fear of man!

It’s time church! Let’s start a revival by sharing with 1 person a day…or more! God will bless your efforts and lead you wherever you go!

God Will Not Forget You

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.” (Isaiah 49:15 NRSV)

Just as a mom is sensitive to when her baby needs feeding, God is ultra-sensitive to His children. He says I will never forget you… I will never leave you. I love you too much to let that happen.

Do not think just because you are going through a hard season that God does not care! That is furthest from His truth! Look up! Come up higher! He IS the God who sees you and loves you every moment of every day!

I appreciate how attentive He is to our needs. “I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!” (Isaiah 65:24 NLT)

Psalms 18:1-3 shares David’s feelings of love and praise to the Lord when He rescued David from all his many enemies, including rescue from the cruelty of Saul.

“Lord, I passionately love you and I’m bonded to you, for now, you’ve become my power!

You’re as real to me as bedrock beneath my feetlike a castle on a cliffmy forever firm fortressmy mountain of hidingmy pathway of escapemy tower of rescue where none can reach me. My secret strength and shield around me, you are salvation’s ray of brightness shining on the hillside, always the champion of my cause. All I need to do is to call to you, singing to youthe praiseworthy God. When I do, I’m safe and sound in you.”

David doesn’t use the usual Hebrew word for love “ahav” (Jehovah Ahava means God is love).

He uses the Hebrew word for pity or mercy, “raham.” It means when a mother loves and pities her child so much it manifests with a deep love and emotional bond, creating the emotional desire to embrace and touch! (TPT Footnotes, Ps. 18:1-3)  I sure have felt this with my own children and the young children I have taught! Have you ever felt the need to give the Lord an air hug? Go for it! (Sometimes I squeeze my bible close, knowing Jesus receives my hug!) You are having the response He wanted for you at this moment and always! He loves you so much… so love Him back!

Be blessed today no matter what is going on in your world!

Love, Holly

All Glory To Jesus

Romans 8:14-19 {The Passion Translation}

“The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. 15 And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” [or a spirit of slavery] leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of GodAnd you will never feel orphaned, for as He rises up within us, our spirits join Him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” 16 For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as He whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!”

17 And since we are His true childrenwe qualify to share all His treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God Himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that He is and all that He has. We will experience being co-glorified with Him provided that we accept His sufferings as our own.”

Are you moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit? Do you notice when He is whispering to your heart? Are you choosing to obey Holy Spirit? You are truly good enough in Him! When you try to feel “good enough” which means “Now, I’ll finally be accepted” you will strive to work harder, do better or do more. This leads us back into fear, which is not a character of God. Fear is not okay for a believer to camp out with. I am not saying we cannot do better in our relationships, jobs or be more devoted followers of Christ. But, the question to ask is, “Why am I striving so hard and working harder and putting in longer hours at my job? What are my feelings behind the striving?” Honestly peer into your heart. Do you have insecurity, fear and low self-worth wanting to do more or be more? These thoughts can lead you into a spirit of religious duty or legalism.

Instead, we can find our true and real life in the full loving, unconditional acceptance of Jesus! He has removed the fear of judgment today and at the end of this age! In fact, you have been fully enveloped into His family! God is your Abba Daddy, your beloved Father! God, your Maker, is a loving and tender Father to each of His children! He has adopted you! He chooses you today and over and over again!

And, you know what else He does for us? As we are joined in Christ and to Christ we become joint heirs with Him! Quite amazing! We were once wandering rebels so far away from God and His ways. Once we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior He bequeathed us with His loving grace making us His royal princes and princesses! We qualify to share in all of His treasures verse 17 shares, because we are heirs of God Himself! These treasures aren’t jewels, gold, material things…but Christ, our Messiah! He is our great reward! As we live our lives devotedly and sacrificially unto the Lord, we share in Him today and into eternity.

He embodies all the fruit of the Spirit: all love, all joy, all peace, all patience, all kindness, all goodness and perfect self-control. I believe in heaven, we will know what Jesus is speaking to us at all times. There is no veil between us or miscommunication. I also believe we will know His perfect love and will know how much He loves us and how we are fully and completely known…without a shadow of a doubt.

1 Cor. 13:12 (TPT), “For now we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood.”

I realize that everything I know and see today is only part of the big picture that is coming… before we know it. His transforming love will bring us all face-to-face with God in heaven sometime…soon!

In Romans 8:17 we read, “We will experience being co-glorified with Him provided that we accept His sufferings as our own.”  This means as we accept what He went through in His earthly life, all for us. It also means we accept the whole package of Jesus: His sorrows, His joys, His sufferings, the pain He agonized through and the love He poured out on the Cross of Calvary. We share in His experiences equally as if it was our own experiences. This is our true and real identity. Jesus identified with us as a human Man and yet fully God. We acknowledge that what He went through is what we will also face (maybe not crucifixion but we are called to die to ourselves daily, and pick up and carry our cross) and go through in this rugged mountainous journey.

The good news is “if we suffer jointly we will enjoy glory jointly.” (TPT footnotes Rom. 8:17)

Doxa is the Greek word for glory which can be translated radiant beauty, splendor, or perfection.

Rom. 8:18-19 says, “I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us.19 The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters!” (See John 17:21-23)  Amazing glory all the while we stand as royal children of our Most High and Gracious God, Abba Daddy! He has a passionate love for us so much that we will be one in Him and Jesus, through His blood. Christ’s glory will come to us, enter us, fill us, envelop us, and then be revealed through us as partakers of the glory. This “unveiling” (apokalypsis) is the same word for the last book of the Bible, “The Revelation [Unveiling] of Jesus Christ.” The verb tense in the Greek text is clear that this “unveiling” is imminent, soon to happen, and destined to take place. (TPT footnotes, Rom. 8:19) Who knows the exact timing, but God does!

“He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all—how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” Rom. 8:32 (NIV) He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all—how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” God gave us His only Son, so we could live with Him today and in eternity! We can depend on Him to give us what is necessary to bring us into final glory into our heavenly homes!

Just to be with you… Jesus gave His everything!

(If time is drawing near to Jesus’ return, who in your world needs to hear about His life-saving love?)   Please share Jesus and John 3:16 with them! Let’s start a worldwide revival!

Held by His loving grace,

Arrow Tips and Heart Wounds

(an excerpt from my new bible study “Train To Reign: Living Your True Identity With Victory And Authority”)

Train To Reign: Living Your True Identity With Victory And Authority: LaChappell, Holly: 9798574125915: Books

Hebrews 12:1-4 (The Passion Translation) “As for us, we have all of these great witnesses who encircle us like clouds. So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us.”

2 We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because His heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be His, He endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!

3 So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own soulsso that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures. 4 After all, you have not yet reached the point of sweating blood in your opposition to sin.”

Do you know the enemy is constantly shooting his fiery darts or arrows at your heart and mind? These fiery darts (arrows) break off and the arrow tips lodge themselves deeply into our hearts creating wounds.  These heart wounds create anxiety, reaction issues, control issues, sadness, depression and addictions. The consequence of carrying an arrow tip inside is a wound is created that weighs us down and keeps us from running our race with freedom. (Heb. 12:1 footnote TPT)

Then, we can become so entangled in these heart wounds and our issues that we begin to doubt God’s goodness. We start to doubt His promises could ever possibly be for us….thinking maybe for someone else, but surely not for me. This is a sin of unbelief and such a lie from the abyss.

If we are going to run (or walk) life’s marathon (journey) with passion and determination to run alongside of Jesus, His life, love and teachings, we must let Him heal us of these heart wounds. How do you do this? Pray and release them to Him. Journal and ask Him what He says about you and your wounded areas. Process through your hurting areas with a safe and trusted friend or counselor. Get the Word into your very being by reading it, really get still and marinate it and memorize scripture! Then, you are filled with Him, His life giving and changing thoughts to combat the arrows of the enemy. Realize that as you read it, you are hearing from our divine Maker! HE IS speaking to your heart and soul! Believe Jesus!

Fasten your eyes on Jesus who births faith in you! He endured the agony of the cross for you. He wants to share His life with you. Your identity is wrapped up in Him and His redeeming life’s work of love! The Greek word agona means agony or conflict. On our obstacle course called life, Jesus wants to enter into your conflicts and wounds. He wants to heal you.

We will have conflict and great challenges-we know this usually on a daily basis! Rest assured, He has marked your path ahead of time. This means, He has set us on a predestined individually, tailored journey, a destiny for each of us that we are to give ourselves fully to reach. For me, this is super helpful and comforting to know! As I get on board with Jesus, I just need to follow Him daily along the path He has already carved out for me!

In this time of our lives, friends we must contend for our faith! As we contend,we can conquer! To conquer is defined as: to overcome or overpower, or conquer a bad habit by starting some good habits. To conquer also can mean to be a victor, champion or a medalist.

Remember victory is described as someone who habitually overcomes and conquers. It doesn’t mean you are sinless or perfect but that you rely on Christ for help, forgiveness and victory. Not yourself. Overcoming means winning the battle over the lure and temptations of the world. Our goal should be to escape the grip of sinful habits and desires. To overcome the world, we need the power of Christ that is active in our lives through faith in Him. We can trust Him to help us every time we ask for help!

Ps. 91: 15 (TPT) “I will answer your cry for help every time you pray,

and you will find and feel my presence

even in your time of pressure and trouble.

I will be your glorious hero and give you a feast.”

Yes, friends! We are to be entwined in Him so much so, that we will wait quietly, patiently and bravely! And, when He comes through for us, as He always does, (in His perfect timing) we can shout for joy letting our heart explode with praise as we celebrate Him alone with our songs!

Great is His faithfulness! He will never fail us, leave us nor forsake us! Praise Him today and along the journey!

Love in Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith journey!
