Day 36 “52 Days of Prayers To Rebuild America!”

Song: Surrounded (Fight Our Battles)/Michael W Smith

Scripture: James 4:2b

“You do not have because you do not ask God.”

“God opposes the proud, but He pours out grace on the humble.” James 4:6

Prayer: Jesus, you have called us to be a praying people and to pray without ceasing. Lord, sometimes we get tired, apathetic, and joyless. Please stir up within us, Holy Spirit, the desire to pray about all the issues of this life. God, there are so many, and evil is prevalent in our country. God, help us to be bold in prayer, asking for your divine wisdom, guidance, and intervention. God, we cannot muster up this faith ourselves; we need you to instill within us the desire to care, pray and intercede on our country’s behalf. Reignite our fire for you and your people! Jesus, help us to keep you at the forefront of our hearts, praying with the zeal of the Lord! Remind us, Lord, to put on the garment of praise, casting off the garment of despair. Thank you for moving on and hearing our prayers! In the Beautiful Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Decree out loud: I decree I am a praying person, and I care deeply about what happens to my family, children, adults, our country’s concerns, and the concerns of the nations of the world. I declare the joy of the Lord is my strength (Neh. 8:10), and He will help me to continue to persevere in prayer. I will not grow weary in prayer! In Jesus, I decree that I will stand strong and pray about what is on His heart.

Prophetic encouragement: I see prayer warriors increasing their prayers, fulfilling their assignment to pray! I see things changing because of the power of prayer, being united to the Word, our faith and worship, and our love of Jesus. I can see the look of joy on the prayer warrior’s faces when Jesus reveals to them how their prayers changed many courses of action for the better! Hallelujah!
