Day 50 “52 Days of Prayers To Rebuild America!”

Day 50 “52 Days of Prayers To Rebuild America!”

Song: King Of My Heart/John Mark & Sarah McMillan

Scripture: Matthew 22: 37-40 (NIV)

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Prayer: Jesus, you tell us this is the greatest commandment, and we want to honor God with all that we are! In fact, when we honor God, our lives are in order. So, Jesus, we thank you for showing us God, our Father, and bringing us near to Him. We thank you that when we honor God first, then our family and country, we are honoring and obeying you. Help us show love and care to our neighbors, for this also shows reverence to you. Lord, help us to shine your love light on others and show them compassion leaving the judgment to you. It’s in the loving Name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Decree out loud:  I decree I will love the Lord my God with all my passion, prayers, and intelligence. I declare believers are becoming more passionate for Jesus, keeping their flame burning brighter for Him! I declare He is putting His words and thoughts in our hearts and mouths as we draw near to Him!

Prophetic encouragement: Followers of Christ are rediscovering these scriptures as the most important, next to John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” The Lord will comfort America again and bring pity upon the ruin of her society. Joy and gladness will be found here, along with sounds of thanksgiving filling the air! (Isa. 51:3)

Victorious Action: Have a Happy Face!

“A warm, smiling face reveals a joy-filled heart, but heartache crushes the spirit and darkens the appearance”Best_Friends_Holding_Hands (Prov. 15:13 VOICE).

Let’s Talk: Have you ever noticed how someone’s smiling face is lit up with light and joy? Do you wonder if they have always been this way? I bet if you asked them, they can tell you about some pretty horrible things that have happened in their lives. But you secretly wonder, you are smiling still. They might not be able to describe what has happened to them, but I can. It’s called grace and transformation. Jesus upholds us with His righteous right arm. He gives us free grace; unearned and undeserved. He transforms the bruised and hurt parts of our hearts and gives us a new heart when we open ourselves up to Him.

Let’s Glorify: Lord, please make me new! I give you my heartaches, my challenges and the things that are causing me discouragement today. Brighten my heart Lord and give me your precious joy as I live and move in you. I desire a close and intimate relationship with you Jesus, the Lover of my soul. Let my face reveal the joy I feel in your home; my heart. In your name, I pray. Amen.

Let’s Go! Remember a time you felt great joy as a child and now as an adult. Why did you have such great joy? Describe in detail with your mom, daughter or friend.

A Heart That Stirs

Exodus 35:21 (NKJV)
“Then everyone came whose heart was stirred, and everyone whose spirit was willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering for the work of the tabernacle of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments.”
Is your heart being stirred? Is God creating something new in your life? Or, is He asking you to bring an offering to Him? He could be asking for a tithe, but my thought is He also asks for us to give an offering of something else– our hearts. Our heart is where our decisions are made, because we decide out of our affections what we love and what we want to do. Our beliefs create our emotions. Our emotions then create our reactions and our responses. If I am reacting in ways which are explosive, violative or snide and snarky, fearful and doubting, there is something about my core belief that needs to be explored. In God, I can ask Him to examine my heart, my will, my affections, my mood. I can pray to have Him point out what is the root of my belief. My identity is formed around these beliefs. Instead, I need to let God help me form my identity in Him.  God is love and He loves you and I perfectly and unconditionally.
When we allow God into our hearts, we can make space for Him to fill us up. Now, we will start to make decisions happily based on His desires for us. And, our identity is based upon His love for us and not upon what the world
or what others feel about us. Then, we can go about doing God’s work, touching other lives with His precious love and grace.  So, rise up! Listen to the stirrings in your heart. Make some positive Holy Spirit inspired changes and throw off the garments of old beliefs! Then go confidently in Him.  Thank you, Lord for your loving touch upon my life today. I will listen to your stirrings, empty myself and make space for you to move fully in my heart and life. Amen.
